Cakes are of different types, shapes, and sizes. Prepared primarily from flour, sugar, butter, and eggs, cakes can be eaten by almost anyone. And when I say that this yummy food item will rule the world, here are my reasons.

Of course, anything that would rule the world has to be accepted by the majority of the world’s population. As things stand now, between fifty and a hundred million cakes are consumed by the world every day. Many of these are birthday cakes and others are primarily used as desserts.

In a year, at least ninety million cakes are sold worldwide based on statistics available. There is hardly any country where cake is not prepared or eaten in a day. So, that cakes will rule the world is as certain as the breaking of the day.

2. Variety :

Among the factors that determine whether something will rule the world is variety. If there is only one type of a thing, people easily become tired of it and abandon it. However, where it is Possible to have numerous versions of a thing, the chances of its continued relevance are very great.

Based on recipes alone, there are many options for cakes from which you can choose. Some of these include buffer, chiffon, coffee, angel food, yeast, cheese, flourless, Bundt, meringue, quick reads, and so on. If you talk about shapes, the types are almost limitless.

The implication is that you can get any type of cake that suits your taste and health condition. That’s the essence of the various recipes. Every day, food scientists keep coming up with different cake recipes to meet diverse health needs. That is why I affirm that cakes can hardly go out of favour with people anytime soon.

3. Affordability :

Some food items may be good, but when they are too expensive and out of reach for the common man, they easily fade out in the market. Such is not with cakes. You can order for the type that suits your pocket and still enjoy yourself.

It is a food item that keeps all financial statuses into consideration. For as low as a few cents, you can enjoy one. Also, if you desire an expensive cake worth thousands of dollars, such is also available. This affordability is why cake will still be relevant for a long time in the world.

4. Flexibility :

Cakes can be made in the form of anything. Bakers and cake designers have made cakes in the form of cars, houses, hospitals, shirts, and several other things. This is one thing that keeps amusing people, and will not make the item fade out easily.
